Adding a design to your breads can set your product apart from the competition. By just adding a simple fleur de lis, wheat sheath or logo, you can personalize your artisan breads for a quality look.
In this photo, we used flour and our wheat stencil (C217) to add style to our loaves.

Bread Dough - preferably not fully proofed Stencil Parchment paper Crisco Flour or fine ground herb
1. Rub Criso on the side of the stencil that will be touching the dough. (Fig 1) Remember to reverse the stencil if there is lettering so it sin't backwards!

2. Sprinkle flour or herbs on parchment paper. (Fig 2)
3. Lay stencil over this and then gently roll the dough over the stencil. (Fig 3)
4. The stencil masks the herbs and the herbs stick to the dough only where there are stencil openings. (Fig 4) Let rise and bake as usual.
