How to Create Holiday Window Art

      1. Clean and dry the glass. Mask any frame work around the glass, sill, and/or nearby surfaces with paper and painter’s tape. Santa Snow Frost is made for glass; we caution against spraying it on woodwork and tinted window film.

      2. Make the stencil tacky. Away from the window, apply a light coat of Repositionable Adhesive Spray to the back of the stencil. Wait 30–60 seconds, then position it and press the cutout edges flat against the glass. Tape around the sheet’s edges using the repositionable adhesive and Frog Tape

      3. Spray in light, even passes. Shake the can and spray from about 8–12 inches away, using a sweeping motion. A light layer gives a softer frost; follow the can’s directions for drying time.

      4. Lift the stencil carefully. Once the snow has set enough to hold its shape, peel the tape and lift the stencil away from the glass without dragging it across the design. For the 24″ × 36″ sheet, having a second person help keep it flat and aligned should make placement easier.
